Actually you might be surprised, there are plenty of videos of stock R/T challengers hanging with stock Camaro SS's. Don't forget that the Challenger has more torque than HP (400/410 auto/manual) and the SS doesn't have much more (420). geedee3 also has a point of drive first talk later. I considered an SS until I drove the challenger R/T and the R/T stole my heart. Better daily cruiser, more comfortable, and for me, more fun to drive.

I really couldn't care less if the Camaro is a better deal or not. It still would mean I'd have to drive a stinking Camaro! LOL!!! Bought my 2013 R/T because I really like them. Couldv'e bought the bizarre/lame looking Camaro, but nah....Could've bought the faster Mustang but, I'm not into the "Twilight" series of movies. Mustang reminds me of that teen crowd. For me; hardcore American classic metal: Challenger. It's the slowest, worst handling, and pricey of the "pony" cars, and I LOVE IT!!

@Mr98SupraMan, yes, it is a different button sequence though. There are some videos on here you can find to see how it's done for the older steering wheels.

For those saying the Camaro is a better value, I agree it's a very good value. Having said that, if you're a tall guy sitting inside the Camaro you have little headroom which makes it very uncomfortable. Add a sunroof and it's pretty much a no go since the GM sunroof design takes up what little headspace is there to begin with. This reason alone makes the Camaro a no go for me. There's no way I could spend money on a car that I'm not comfortable in but it doesn't mean I don't like it.

if you like ridding in a bucket , get a camaro. if you want ole school bad azz get the dodge and tweek it!!! you can also hang your elbow out the window and have that free feeling!!!

@85funnyguy The better deal would be to buy what you like; trust me in the end, its a better feeling than getting something you don't really want. Normally people who can afford one don't really give it much thought. I drove both camaro and challenger and guess what?
@geedee313 жыл бұрын
@85funnyguy i know but i like the look of the challenger as well out of all of them, it still has pretty good power for its size; maybe in the future they will increase the power and maybe the prices will come down, but you know they are in a financial crisis so that may not leave much room for improvements.

yea they made this a standard option on the 12s. no fancy button sequences. don't know why they didn't do it for the 11s.

I don't mean to sound like a jerk or anything, but why do so many people pronounce Compass "Come Pass"? It's supposed to be pronounced "Com Pass"...=Compass. I even heard the Jeep commercial say it wrong. Anyway, it's no big deal or anything, I was just curious. Nice challenger by the way! Dodge made quite a few nice improvements to the challenger for '11. I read that it handles a lot better now as well. Thanks for the video. Sorry I knocked you about the compass thing lol.

I accidentally messed with the chime stack and they're all now at 0. It's staying like that even after shutting off the car. Do you know what affect that chime stack might have. First time dodge buyer here. I haven't even gotten to reading the manual yet. Lol

jbdrummer88 just saw a 2008 or 2010 challenger r/t selling close to 11,000. I didn't care for those models under 2011, also the car had I think over 130,000 miles.

@stevenB92096 are you being funny!? It's called "HIDDEN EVIC". You can't access this stuff through the regular menu. Please know your stuff before you call someone stupid.
