I miss my 2006 quad cab 4.7 4x4 dakota. I got tboned 8 years ago. I love my 5th gen ram but I want to have this back again as well. I also loved my first ever vehicle 01 dakota quad cab 3.9 v6 2wd

The 3rd gen dakota was made in trying times, the resection, the decreasing demand for mid size trucks is what killed it in 2011. I have a 04 and has been reliable for almost 20 years. It's a amazing truck.

I used to have the 2000 model year version. That truck was fast, great on gas, and did everything I needed. That truck in the commercial would have done nothing for me. I wish that they would bring a version of that truck back that was utilitarian, simple, easy to work on, and no gimmicks. Modern trucks are looking worse every year in my humble opinion.

That's because the rams have become so popular and people often shift towards a full size truck even if they have no need for it. It has nothing to do with the Dakota because overall it's a decent truck!

krzrrazrrokr because the Dakota (3rd Gens) we’re not only built better but were considered most reliable compared to the Rams at the time. You got what you payed for with these trucks despite how rare they are. Hell, go to a junkyard and see how many Rams you’ll see over Dakota’s.

This truck is a joke.....the 98 slt club cab 4x4 V8 was doing g this with way more style years ago and still today!!
