In this video I give a full in depth tour of the 2011 Dodge Durango Citadel 5.7. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this suv while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this suv designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

Reason being you're very thorough, knowledgeable and have obviously done your research about the particular model and company. All of your reviews are stellar! +MAGNUM05 Your mother was a smart woman to purchase it. I really don't even see why people to Toyota or Honda when Chrysler makes a much better SUV in the same class. Everything feels cheap in a Honda or Toyota. It also looks outdated compared to this.

I have a 2011 Dodge Durango Citadel that we bought brand new in May 2011 shortly before I graduated from high school. It's a good car. It's finished of with the Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl exterior and black leather interior. As of 2022, it only has 45,000 miles on it. The original 5.7L HEMI V8 is still going strong. Plus, it still has the original tires from the factory that are still going strong as well. However, there will eventually come a time where all the original tires will need to be replaced. The car was driven locally through out most of 11 years of it's life. The only time we'd take the car on longer drives is if we're going on vacation trips. 2011 was a new redesign for the Durango as it goes into it's 3rd generation. The 1st generation was made from 1998 to 2003. The 2nd generation was made from 2004 to 2009. There are no 2010 year models. The 3rd generation started in 2011 and it's still going on today. The 3rd generation has lasted much longer than the first two generations.

I saw a white one for the very first time a week ago here in Raleigh, N.C. I sat in my car looking at it because it looked like a Durango, which I now know it was, but never knew there was one called a Citadel. It looked like a new car. Whoever had it took great care of it. I recently bought a Durango and it's awesome! I get better fuel economy than my friend that has a Highlander Limited. I was really hesitant to buy one because I've always had Japanese vehicles but I could not be more satisfied! I have to give props to Dodge because I have never seen a Chrysler-based vehicle this nice ever!!!

@rockerdriver you won't know until you seen it, feel it in person and do a test drive. Honestly I've owned imports for quite awhile but after seeing the new Durango I was impressed with the quality built into this suv. If your worried about the price of gas then this vehicle is not the right one for you....better get Prius!!!!

@dundermiflin892 With a big V8 powered SUV, it's not about HP, it's about Torque. This has 390ft/lb's while the MDX has 270. The MDX is also 300HP, not 360 and 16/21 MPG vs 14/20 with the Hemi.

The front looks mean which is awesome, but I don't know what Dodge was thinking when the designed the back. How can you have such an aggressive looking front grill then make the back look like a crossover. The new interior is very nice though.
