2011 F250 Cab Lights Installation 2 of 5 plotting

I originally purchase Recon /VMS Racing LED Cab lights for my 2011 F250. Upon inspecting them, I found how poorly made they were. Example:
1. The base of the assembly is very very flimsy plastic

I believe that box vbc2re is the box that holds the polarity relay for you power extending and folding mirrors, depending on how you truck is decked out. That box actually has slots for two relays so it may control something else besides the mirrors

They look like the cheap Harbor Fright ones you get a 5 piece set for like 12 bucks or something iv had them on my truck now for about 4 years no problems but i mounted them on my roof visor instead of drill more holes in my roof :)

they were the harbor freight ones :)

They make one big stick on template that you line up with the windshield molding and it's already measured out correctly like the factory.

Great tips on the templates you made. Any leaks yet? How are the foam seals holding up? Do the plastic bases crack or discolor?

Yeah the hardest part of all of it is drilling that first hole lol

DONT DO IT! your going to have leaks in your roof after time. I HATE mine
