parking lights how i got mine wired in i put them on my visor though i didnt want to put any more screws in roof then i had to

I would have found the parking light fuse and added them into that so they come on when the parking lights are on.

So I did exactly what you did and the cab lights turn on when the truck is on but then I cut the lead wire and put two little clips to connect to a toggle switch and put them on the switch and the lights don’t turn on.....????? What am I doing wrong?

If using a toggle switch you need power into the switch which needs to be fused and then connect to the wire leading to the cab lights to the post marked ACC. There will be a post for a ground if you want the switch to light up when turned on. This is for a 3 prong switch.
