2011 F250 Waste Gate Solenoid Problem

Happens roughly 1 minute after shutdown. Not a serious problem, but Ford is replacing it now.

What part did they replace. Mines In the shop for the same thing. They day they ordered parts just wondering what parts they replaced on yours that made it go away. Did yours do it while the engine was running too? Mine does.

whats not normal now? I have the same problem took it to ford and dealer said not to worry, ford is working on a fix

FYI, parts replaced, and no more noise.

Did you have to put up a fight. My service manager politely asked me to call Ford directly and see what they can do.

Waste Gate Solenoid was replaced. I've sold this truck now.. It ended up having a valve seat issue (unrelated to this) later on. Needed a complete head replacement at 32,500 miles. Ford covered it.. Sold it soon after. I'm in a 2015 Ram 1500 Diesel now... Don't need the larger truck, so a half ton diesel was a very welcome thing!

Yeah Ford replaced it. The sound is gone, and is NOT normal.
