I have a 2011 Ford F-150 and I just got my exhaust done. Nothing special. I got the resonators cut out and a Y pipe out on with 4.5 inch exhaust tips. Sounds perfect to my ears. Not too loud but has a deep rumble to it especially when you punch down you can really hear it. In cab you can still cruse without it deafening your ears

I had the super 10 on my 2014 ford f150 for a while, went to dual straights with 4 inch tips, trust me man once you go to straight pipes you will never wanna change it again, sounds so fucking amazing, ive had straight pipes for about 4 months now, absolutely love it

@araiza yessir! The owner at the muffler shop recommended me to get the 40 series and not the super 10 or outlaw cuz it's "too loud". You my friend, just reassured me to get the super 10. Outlaw will be my next if super 10 not loud enough

I had the 10 on my Ram, it was just too much noise, and not enough deepness. Set off everyone's alarms, and was actually annoying when I was driving through serenity oriented communities. 40 is deep, and with a big tip it carries far!

Any huge difference in the low frequencies? I have the dual in dual out 10 series on my 4.6 Tundra but winter startups at 5 am rattle the house and I'm sure the neighbours hate me 😆. Thinking of swapping it out for the 40 series dual in dual out.

44's are designed for less cabin noise. Go for the Original 40 series. I liked the 10's besides the stupid rap rap rap noise when letting of the throttle. I heard all 3 and Went with the 40's

Super 10s all the way. They sound better than the 40s when the truck is accelerating under load (like it should). If you’re just gonna sit there and rev the engine for your buddies than the 40s will sound better

The 5.4l has a old school muscle car sound and the 5.0 has more of a exotic car sound. The 4.6l and 5.4l to me are one of Fords best sounding motors with the right exhaust....

Oh its going to be loud but mainly because the pipe will be shorter. I have a new setup with a 40 series before the rear wheel and a 3 inch pipe sounds almost as loud as the super 10 I had out the back.

The 40 was single in dual out but the super 10 is dual in dual out. So can you explain what else was done? Not trying to be an a$$ but not a fair comparison. Did you add headers as well or maybe a downpipe, or custom duals after the cats? Am I the only one that caught this? If I had duals I’d go two straight thru race mufflers like corsa or magnaflow for obnoxious. I just changed out a magnaflow si/do for a 40 series si/do flowmaster and I’m going going back to the straight thru magnaflow.

I don’t think the video was a competition video, more of a comparison. The dual in dual out is why the 10s are louder, and the muffler is a lot smaller
