Ive had over 40 biks of every make , from 70cc to 1000cc annd have been riding since 1972 ..had a 250 ninja & rode a 300 ninja . Love middle weights ..but lets face it , on paper and specs alone , the cbr250r has f/injection & the engine specs have it hands down over the kawi. Honda did the homework with this bike ..this weekend im going to my friends dealership to test one ..will probably ride it home

@TonicEnergy You should go for the ninja, because it's the best looking, and it's a small lightweight bike, that is fun to drive!

I'm in the market for my first bike. It's tied between Ninja 250, Rebel, and CBR. I really want to do my homework and get the best bike, since I'm dropping hard earned money in a bad economy,

@TonicEnergy I still haven't gotten a bike yet. I came VERY close a few times. Walked into the dealership and did all the paper work once, but then backed off because I didn't want to blow all that money. Looked a few used bikes on craigslist but never bought anything. The economy is too shitty right now and work unsteady. I'm still holding out.

im torn between both of them, The ninja has better styling and my friend said it was an awesome bike, but i like Honda over any motorcycle company and it gets better gas mileage.

@macdaddy1600 Check out ebay... they usually have some pretty nice prices for sport bikes with motorcycle companies putting their bikes up for bid or buy it now. I saw the CBR 250r for $3999 today in ebay as a buy it now option and they have it in both colors.

the analog odometer is really ugly in the ninja 250. I don't mind analog but this design looks to be more than 10 years old.

@SlowDaddie We are in the same fukin boat buddy! I go to school fulltime, and i work nearly fulltime, 30+hrs/week. If i'm gunna drop 3k on a bike, it better be absolutely fantastic + perfect! Have you decided yet??

PLEASE HONDA - THE BIKE LOOKS UGLY, JUST COMPARE ITS APPEARANCE TO THE NINJA 250... WHY ARE ALL THE NEWER HONDA HAVE THE UGLY 'RABBIT' LOOK? THE LOOK IS THE ONLY REASON I'M TAKING THE NINJA... BRING BACK THE 2005 FIREBLADE LOOK :(
