At my work I've helped a couple of customers load items into Honda Fits in the past and I was amazed at how big the cargo area was on them. Honda did a great job of maximizing the usefulness of the interior space on the Honda Fit.

This car is hands down better than the Civic. It looks better, has more cabin space, gets better mileage and safety ratings, costs less, doesn't have as many problems, and is more fun to drive.

a few more features: -in a front collision, the engine is designed to drop down and release to prevent it from going through the cabin and hurting the passengers. - it does have head rests designed to prevent serious whip lashes.

There is a refreshed 2012 Honda Fit Coming soon to a Honda dealer near you. Also the new assembly plant for the Fit will be in Mexico, so it will be cheaper to assemble the parts, instead of manufacturing and assembling the Fit from Japan.

@cacarca Well, excuse my youthful ignorance, but I like to know if my engine is overheating before it gets hot enough to warp the heads. That's what happened to my Chrysler Pacifica, go figure, it's a Chrysler. The engine overheated really bad before the light came on (I hadn't noticed the old fashioned gauge) and 4 months later I had to do a complete engine replacement because it refused to start without a fight ever since. Don't know if warped heads were the cause or not, but whatever.

@pjurek99 I have to agree, the vertical folding seat is the 'key' to making this car unique in the subcompact segment. Although, the Fit is overpriced for what it is and and even more overpriced when you get insurance quotes. In Canada, a mid-grade Honda Fit is more expensive than an entry level Mazda3 hatch with air, auto, and cruise control added on. Personally, I wish Honda brought the Civic Hatchback instead of this Fit.

@derbigpr500 yeah but Euro Honda's are sold as a luxury brand, I think it was you that said that the other day on another video. Over here it's just a regular brand that competes with Ford, Chevy, Mazda and stuff. Honda's in Europe and Japan are more equivalent to Acura over here. Acuras are real nice I like Acura.

I came on a bit harsh on the Fit but its not a car for people who want features. No bluetooth, sat nav, sattelitle radio, auto headlights, all hard plastics everywhere and her passenger door panel actually fell off on a gravel road. The salesman were very rude to us to but she needed a reliable car and in that sense it delivers, slightly. In the winter she cant depend on it, it wont start anywhere near -10c. I dont know anything about Fiestas but I know they have great features.
