This Equus puts the LS460 to shame with it's more powerful V8. Hyundai is slowly weeding out the fake luxury car makers and offering more for less.

The Equus looks great so far. I'm sure that many loyalists to established brands will doubt its success at first, but then again Lexus, Acura, and Infiniti were newcomers to the world of luxury cars only 2 decades ago and they turned out to become respected and highly-regarded brands over the last 20+ years, especially Lexus because of all the variety in their lineup.

I do have to say I am really impressed with the design and quality of this car. I'm not a huge fan of Hyundai or vehicles from the east but this one is really nice. Really gives the S-class a run for the money in terms of features and quality especially with the W221 which I don't like.

WOW This car has more luxury features than any German rival on offer I'm sure! If i was in the market for a luxury car this would be top of my list. Hyundai have stepped up and pretty soon they'll be overtaking the competition in terms of features and price. People who care about brands aren't car enthusiasts. It competes with the 7 Series, S Class, Audi A8, Lexus LS etc. You are probably right about it maybe becoming rare because we Americans like to get caught up in brand names. That's why I think Hyundai should have made a separate luxury brand for cars like this. Many people are not gonna want to pay so much money for a Hyundai.

I can only agree to the vehicle description. A shame it wouldnt have a chance here in Germany, the tradition of buying German luxury cars is just too strong here. Even Infiniti, Cadillac or Lexus cant scratch the sale numbers of BMW, Mercedes and Audi. Thats why most foreign manufacturers arent even trying tell sell something like the Equus here. The Genesis sedan is as great as this one btw.

Great video Saabkyle. I cant believe this vehicle doesnt offer a full power opening/closing trunk! Maybe its on the ultimate trim level. I heard that one has power door closers... Anyways, one more thing that should be mentioned that is the ULTIMATE sin: Bob Mayberry and staff should be jailed for putting their dealer sticker on this car. The license plate frame is fine but NOT the dealer sticker on the trunk. You dont do this on vehicles over 30 grand.
