The new QX has out sold the LX since it came out, they dont wish to be anything but Infiniti. Notice that all the revisions on the 2013 LX were all features that the QX has had since 2011. The LX might be as good as the QX now, but the QX makes a bolder statement.

I like this dude. One of the best reviews of this vehicle. I disgree with him on his ranking also. Well kinda. The new re-styled LX is HOT and probably a bit more exciting than this QX. But the pre-2013 isn't that great. It's hard to believe that one runs around $100,000! Maybe that's why I've seen like 2 in the last 5 months.

@Sitti2300 ... lucky one :) The QX is now the same car as the new Nissan Patrol which was one of the toughest 4x4 ever built. It was called "The Land Cruiser Killer", it's been around since 1951 - longer than the LC ('54) or Range Rover ('70). I've got the previous version called Y61 and must admit that the car is just indestructible. It has live axles so is a bit uncomfortable, and that's its weak point ;)

Very striking SUV overall, however the QX56's quirky, lackluster interior design and cheap materials/trim throughout IMO aren't quite up to par with other competitors in it's class.

It is ugly on the outside, but beautiful on the inside. If you ride in it, it makes all the cars (Camaro, Challenger, 300, Charger) you thought looked good feel extremely cheap. It's the only suv with a lot of rear legroom.

Be careful with the cheap steel. I’ve had two and both rotted underneath. Northeast weather and salt and sand. Other than that great vehicle. Just make sure to undercoat or rustproof depending where you live. I love the vehicle except the cheap steel.

No not a bad vehicle. I have a 16 and as with any vehicle when you live where it snows your best bet is to coat under the vehicle because of all the salt used. Infiniti uses a high tensile steel made to absorb impact upon collision. It’s stronger but liter than regular steel. The doors will feel liter than other SUV’s but it’s made like that by design.

Fair comment. The LX has true rock-crawling capabilities like the Range Rover. the QX is fine for snow, mud and light duty, but it can't do what the Lexus LX570 or Toyota Land Cruiser can. I just got back from a hard-core Range Rover trip and their own instructors said that other than their vehicles, only the Toyotas and Jeeps can keep up.

It's Mercedes bro, and it has a history of over 125 years and it's the most popular car when it comes to luxury sedans and high-end SUVs. The 2nd generation QX looks kinda weird but has a great interior. But you shouldn't simply go around saying that BMW is stupid, BMW and Mercedes are the safest cars around so read about them before simply bashing them. Peace.

@Johncarson9113 Sorry I don't agree, OVERALL rating of LX makes it the best (design/features/manufacturer/reliability/maintenance&parts cost/life time) Range Rover/RR HSE/Audi Q7:Good looking cars with good features, but they share a very high maintenance cost & parts cost. The car will spend lot of time at maintenance more than being with you InfinitiQX:Closest one to the LX for the reliability, but it is SO UGLY You will know a good car by the used market value of it, LS & LX holds their price
