Since Isuzu insist (or have been forced) to put that piddling 1.9 in the D-Max, these older larger engine'd Rodeos look even more appealing. Very handsome things I've always thought. Great video, as always Barrie. Your hours spent filming/editing aren't in vain.

Egregious Why have they been forced to put the 1.9 in the newer ones when overseas markets like Australia get a bigger, more powerful 3.0-litre engine? Is it because that 3.0-litre engine won’t meet EU emissions regulations whereas the 1.9 will?

I remember when my dad used to have a 2011 Isuzu Denver Max Plus with the 3.0-litre diesel engine when I was 11.

I remember my uncle had an Isuzu Trooper once as a work vehicle. That thing was a tank.

i used to sell Isuzu Troopers and I can confirm they are like Tanks, and they could also tow one up a hill

I spent the last few hours watching all the videos with the "bakkies",as the Ozzie's call them. It is impressive how car like they are nowadays, and funny but I liked this old beauty the most.

That would be a perfect bakkie for farm use on gravel roads here in Namibia.
