I've been driving this for almost a year now, it's very nice to drive, looks great, top choice really. Two things I don't like though, one is the noise level in the cabin is quite high, I used to driving Honda and that's very quiet so it took me awhile to get used the noise. But again this is my first SUV so I am not sure if SUV generally are noisy compare to sedan.

What do think of the noise of the cabin? it vibrates so much and makes things rattles and squeaks, I am kind of used to it now after almost a year but I guess MAZDA could do a little better.

@winefootdotcom you were holding your video camera then you recorded the back seat, you must've been looking to the back once at a time while driving....

I'm planning to buy this crossover suv by December. I've seen many good reviews of this vehicle already. But I am not quite sure about Mazdas at this time anymore since i owned a Mazda 3 before and was not very impressive. The transmission already had problems at around 58,000 KM. I find the CX7 very beautiful, can i have any recommendation for this model? thanks!

actually, 16-17 mpg for a vehicle that size with 244 horsepower isn't bad for the roads that he seems to be driving on (somewhat hilly). I have a 2011 malibu and it only gets about 21 mpg mostly on hilly country roads. and that car is way lighter and has way less power than the cx-7. the reviewer said he got 16-17, but depending on your own driving habits and the types of roads you drive on, higher mpg is a very realistic possibility. as for the small navscreen, if nav is a must, look elsewhere

@aadskju Another thing you should consider is the fuel consumption, it depends on the way you drive and I guess I am probably doing close to the best 12.9L/100km! Other drivers will get 15-16L/100km, the tank is quiet small, only runs about 450km a full tank. So if you are going to do alot of driving then maybe this is not your car, other than that, I love everything about this car

@benz1980i after a test drive 2 weeks ago here in the Philippines, i think i'm not considering on purchasing this vehicle anymore. fuel consumption is a bit disappointing especially with the traffic in the city. anyway i was granted a good auto loan from the bank and i am now choosing between the audi q5, nissan murano, or the bmw x3.

@aadskju Are you still considering this car? I have been looking at the Land Rover Discovery 3 (probally a little pricey), Nissan Murano and this car. Let me know what you went with as I am sure you have done a lot more research since this video viewing

yes CUV are generally noisier than the sedan that they based on due to the ground clearance. n larger wheels on mazdas also make more road noise.@aussieebayfashion

@winefootdotcom I just watched it on this very page! It appears that you are the only person in the car holding a camera in their hand and talking extensively about your car while driving on a public road. I don't know your road rules, but if you did this in Australia you would be fined. Maybe you could take a friend with you next time and they could hold the camera while you drive?

which CUV is not a raised sedan though? u ar looking for an SUV, not crossover @Luciferia2l8

you keep insisting that you're fine and totally safe and whatnot, but why can't you just wait till you're home before doing this?!

That's funny My old 2004 4.7 v8 awd Durango would get 16.7mpg in the city and 20 on the hwy But that gas station to gas station hwy miles

Its rediculous how the MPG has NOT improved any since the 70s.. 16 mpg on 6 cylinder engine sucks. Wheres the innovation?
