The power window motors have stupid plastic gears inside them that fall apart the main drive gear teeth break off and causes the window to get stuck and may not roll back up or down. This happened to me on December 25 of 2022. The exterior door handles will break off at some point leaving the rod that connects to it to move freely inside the door. I was driving on the highway went to roll the window down the dumb rod that would have connected to the exterior door handle was resting under the window. When I rolled the window down it pushed on the rod and caused the door to open and wouldn't close unless I kept the window up. I ordered the aftermarket Dorman part and it only lasted a year, the return spring that makes the handle sit flush with the door broke. The handle still works but you have to manually push it flush in place it was a $26 part vs paying $150 for a handle from the stealership

Beyond 112,000 miles the GDI injectors will start to fail... the inner cylinders first. This is a costly repair...

180,000 km (around 112,00 miles) or more and the GDI injectors will require to be changed. #2 or #3 injector first, and then second... #1 and #4 will live longer (thermal reasons) These are expensive and require around 3 work hours to be replaced ($$$). Turbo K04 usually needs replacement around 130,000 km... earlier if owner was a woman with lack of auto caring skills CEL or 4x4 lights should not be on... latter means a battery was changed and the reset procedure was not done... or the TCM module or the transmission has failed. If the CX7 was well maintained and cared for it is an amazing vehicle... very powerful with enourmous cargo space for it's size... only real downfall is the low fuel economy

Absolutely everything is wrong what you say! Especially "aspirated engine"! How aspirated? Naturally? Turbocharged? Supercharged? G-Charger? Radial charger? Compressor? EVERY engine is aspirated!!!!!!!!!! And the 2.3 NA engine has crankshaft bearing problems because they used the wrong materials for the bearings! But you can solve this problem forever with aftermarket parts! This problem is ONLY on the 2.3 NA! Not on the 2.3 DISI turbo!!! In Suisse every car with the MPS engine was delivered to customers with 313hp from brand new! In Germany from 260hp to 312! In USA and Canada the most had 272! With mapping you can reach easy 320! With a bigger turbo, front mount intercooler and mapping you can reach easy 400!!! Just replace the rear diff holder and the rear driveshafts and then you are safe! PS: in Berlin is a 6 MPS in production with a 2.4l engine and 1000whp!!!

@I Gotta Say that's very good! But a 2.5 engine? Is it an American car? Because here in Europe was no 2.5 engine available! Only 2.3 turbo (L3G engine) and 2.2 diesel!

@I Gotta Say 😆 sorry, I think you misunderstood my question..... I like the Mazda automatic transmission but I never had one.... Only manual! I'm looking for a CX-7 2.3 Turbo (Japanese Import) with the automatic transmission but I don't know how reliable they are..... Do you had any problems with it? Here in Europe every CX-7 is a manual! It's fun but I want the CX-7 with an automatic transmission!

Failure to explain means your argument might be BS as well If the owner of the CX7 was a woman... the vehicle is doomed 😂 I am not like that... my 2007 GT CX7 I tuned to 310 bhp (like 233 whp in each 4 wheels), just bigger TMIC and air filter box... transmission hydraulic fluid cooler to be able to reach 140 mph with out exceeding 65C higher than ambient temperature. I think I know a thing of two about this vehicle (and also my old 2013 375whp MS3)

i have the diesel an a lot of issus, Heat of diesel pump, Radlager, battery problems, a lot of small issues, and after all with 117.0000 km a total colapse of the engine, ( and it was Mazda checked everey Year!) shot car, i like it, but its not goof quality!

@@ShinySilverBunny I also had a miata (mx5) fun car & a 323 as a student (legendary car), but this cx7 is a heap of crap, stay clear of this dog would be my advice, a volvo, subaru or vw 4wd suv much better, good luck!

@@DINO5551000 de unde pula mea știi tu mă că mașina ar fi fost un gunoi? Pai 2.2-de 184 cum a apărut inițial, apoi de 177 și 170 sunt foarte bune dpdv al construcției lor ca motor, că e motor făcut de Mazda RA2 MZR. Și cel de 2.3, doar că ambreiajul este gândit foarte defectuos și subdimensionat. Iar bineînțeles că este consumul. Futute-n dinți.
