This is one of the most underrated drafts. Kyrie, Klay, Kawhi. All 3 of these guys were nba champions the last five years and played a significant role on those teams. Spurs wouldn't have won championship without Kawhi in 2014. Warriors wouldn't have won in 2015, 2017 and 2018 without Klay. And Cavs wouldn't have won in 2016 with Kyrie.

3 things come to mind. 1. Class act move by the organization to include him in this set of presentations while he’s still part of the team, 2. Presentations were already done and would be a waste of effort to just eschew the work already made, 3. Smokescreen to cover the growing news regarding Leonard’s demands to be traded. Honestly, not sure which it is. I just appreciate him getting this sort of video despite the rumors/news. He’d do well wherever he lands. I hope he stays but would understand if he goes.

There were strong rumors that the Spurs were considering trading Tony Parker to get into the top 5. The thought was that George Hill could replace Parker as the starting PG. They ended up trading Hill straight up for the #15 pick, asking the Pacers to draft Kawhi Leonard for them.
