this is also the game that gave the giants the formula for beating us in the playoffs. this is also the game that ruined sherrods career. never recovered from that broken leg. Docs in KC set it wrong so the docs in GB had to rebreak to make it right.

I remember this game. Chiefs exposed us big time they found the blue print to beat us that year. Play tight and physical against our receiver and put pressure on Rodger. The Giants did the same thing to us in the playoff loss.

A loss is a loss...especially when it's to a team that was not making the playoffs that year. One interesting thing about this loss is it definitely gave the doubt of a repeat...which would come true about a month later. Green Bay definitely needed a loss in 2011 to at least feel like they could be beat. Sadly, it didn't matter as they got just stomped by the Giants

The Packers had this seemingly garbage below .500 Chiefs team who were so bad the previous week their coach was fired, and the Bears and Lions at home left for 16-0. Doesn't get much easier, especially for a team steamrolling the league to this point, and somehow they didn't do it. Aaron Rodgers in his prime during the midst of a so-called MVP season couldn't measure up to Bears castoff QB Kyle Orton making his first start for the Chiefs. It boggles the mind that this didn't happen, although in retrospect these kind of chokes would become commonplace for Rodgers and McCarthy going forward.

To think, the undefeated Green Bay Packers fell to a Kansas City Chiefs team that finished 7-9, having fired their head coach the previous week after a blowout loss to the Jets, with an interim coach whose previous HC experience was 24-40 and a procession of backup quarterbacks thanks to their starter being injured. Then again, with the proper defense, you can stop even the reigning Super Bowl champion offense and hold them to two garbage time touchdowns in the second half.

Don't listen to moose and goose here. The chiefs were not simply rushing four nor were the packer's receivers dropping easy passes. Rodgers was just off in this game; and the number of plays the chief's offense ran wore out the packer's defense. Moose is or was awful as a color analyst good god!!!!
