I had heard this singer Shrikant Pargaonkar nearly 35 years ago ( probably on door Darshan ..don't remember). I was mesmerised by his smooth, fluid young voice. I wonder why he didn't become a national hit...he deserved many, many songs...! Try finding his song "gagana gandh zala" in marathi

Theen log ne dislike kiya hai,aisa lagtha woh talat mehmood ko dislike karth hai,ya toh woh talath se bhi accha gathe honge ,nahi toh koi wazah nahi hai dislike karne ke liye, agar talath zindha hothe toh sabse pehla woh ise LIKE karthe ,jisne bhi ise dislike kiya hai ,kripa karke zara hameh bhi aapka khubsoorat awaj sunane ki kripa kare toh meherbani hoga,hum talath ke nahi aap ke fan ho jaayenge agar aap isse behthar gaa denghe toh.
