I watched your video. One hour later, including travel time to the auto supply store, our Honda brake lights are working again. Thanks.

My nieces CR-V does not have Phillips screws. Also does not have the small 168 bulb. It has 7440 and 7443 style blimp bulbs. Hers is a 2014.

What if the Phillips head has been stripped? What size socket is the screw?

Can you confirm... the two uppers are lit when the brake is pressed correct? And the 7443 is simply lit when the lights are on and does nothing else?

From my knowledge, 7443 bulbs have two filaments in them. One is lit when the low beams are on and the other is lit when the brake pedal is pressed. This is why some tail lights are on, but get brighter when braking. The upper two are smaller lights with one filament inside.

I know it is a lot longer but you have that flipped. The upper 168 bulb is just a running light so it is on when they lights are on, the 7443 is a duel filament bulb which gets brighter when the brakes are applied. Also the 168 are the license plate bulbs and I believe the interior lights as well so you can buy those in bulk

Well you changed a couple of bulbs, but you didn't bother to tell us which bulb!! Brakelight, taillight, backup light??? Come on.
