Rich Froning isn't just the fittest man in 2012, moreover he showed the greatest fairplay attitude I have ever seen: when after he finished the race, he went back to motivate the other guys! That's how a sportsman should have to behave!

Good model set by Froning on this WOD, be controlled, nothing he did was frantic or rushed, he simply moved methodically through each movement, doing everything unbroken and using the in between time as a rest rather than a sprint to the next movement.

it's kinesio tape, it helps increase bloodflow to muscle groups when used in a specific pattern. Usually it's used to help heal an injury or help one compete with an injury.

The amazing thing is that you don't realize how hard it is until you see some of the fittest people struggling. Really amazing competition.

this isnt chipper! .. the real chipper was at the '09 games .. that wouls DESTROY half the competitors in this field .. including Rich .. he is a monster though . so repect to all the competitors .. they are all fit in my books! .. enough shit against Crossfit .. would love people to do just 50 DB thrusters + 75 push ups + 100 air squats without stopping !! one has to admit you need a level of fitness to do this kind of things .. well fitness + endurance! =) just my opinion ..cause i do Crossfit

4:40 they could hammer those out so much quicker if they would just quit dropping it

Isn't it more efficient to let gravity do the work in lowering the weight than their backs?
@laxpro3011 жыл бұрын
thats why you use your legs and bend at the knees get low and you can explode right up because if you dont drop it and set it down on your own then as it touches the ground you are already in position to go right back up you can drop it on the final rep but hammer it out, i shaved 10 seconds off my set by not dropping it so say again about gravity?

CI Lacrosse It is slightly faster to do the cleans touch-and-go as you say, but it takes a fairly significant amount of extra effort. In a very short work out (
@brodybroderick978210 жыл бұрын
I'm pretttttty sure that, of all people, Rich Froening knows what he's doing..... and so if he's dropping his weights between reps, there's a good reason and by criticizing the top athlete in a sport you just sound dumb.
@laxpro3010 жыл бұрын
obviously rich froening doesnt know how to do thoe if he keeps dropping it, hes just losing time off his reps and therefore would lose the race if there was someone in there who actually knew what the hell they were doing and didnt drop the bar every rep and waste the time to pick it up under the false pretenses that you get a rest that rest is minuscule comparatively to the one you get when you finish the competition earlier than the rest of your competitors

Hey there, have you heard of "Musclegend" (search on Google)? On their website you will find a smart free video showing the right way to pack on noticeable lean muscle quickly whilst reducing fat as well. Geoff is among the countless guys which enjoyed good results using this strategy. It might work for you also.
