I just got the Flo-pro max setup on a 2011 v6 charger. It sounds really good, very little inside noise. Not Raspy or whiny and its perfect setup for someone who may have passengers (Wife and kids) in the car. You can still hear it from outside the vehicle and its low enough to where you can still hear your cold air intake (For those performance nuts who want to hear it) Its just an overall good system for the right crowd, more mature, sound that isnt over the top for neighbors or passengers

We have built hundreds of these systems and most everyone reports noticeable gains in gas mileage however horsepower is the hot topic. Everyone loves the gains we have made for them in that department.

Hey Kirk, I brought it in on Saturday and I love it. With the CAI and the true dual system, it doesn't cut out or anything. Louder than what I thought it was going to be but I was definitely looking for something more aggressive than stock. I'll bring all of my cars here from now on.

We prefer 2.25 as it appears to deliver the best overal torque and horsepower on these stock to somewhat modified applications.

Sounds great for a 6, I put the American Thunder on my wife's '10 when it was new and it sounded great too. If I remember right the AT used one single super 40 instead of a pair of super 44s, but each tailpipe also had flowmaster's resonators on them ... perfect sound. I've always wondered how these V-6s would sound with an H instead of an X, but everyone knows the X is the better way to go for performance.

300 Gang A genuine performance resonator would only quieten the exterior tone mildly however, help with interior drone substantially.

+Heesler Alvarez Like you hear in the video, it's there but not real harsh. We collectively here at Kinney's prefer the Delta flow 40 series if you want to minimize your risk of drone.

Resonaters will help somewhat but by then you have quietened it down to what delta flowmasters would sound like. Best start with Delta 40's

Treyy Scott not sure but two things at play here. Our systems are complete custom "cat-back" systems that unless you have our system, the dynamics are totally different when simply "patching" in product. So the sound spectrum can and will be considerably different than our system. Secondly, we have seen other shops not using true Flowmaster parts that look like them called knock offs. Lastly they may have installed the parts in a bind or out of proper alignment. Let them take another look at it and when they do, make sure the part number and Flowmaster logo is visible on the mufflers.

question I have is when u added the 2nd muffler I noticed there is no heat shield.. I have the same set up and want to add true duels on mine and just worried about the heat from the other muffler without that heat shield. Have you ran into any problems with it heating up

RONALD KALUPSON Generally speaking, the heat is not much of a concern. By creating a the dual system (done properly) will have greatly reduced exhaust temps. On a V8, yes you want heat shielding. If you still feel uncomfortable with the idea you can purchase a V8 application heat shield from Dodge or purchase some type of self gluing universal heat shield. Will be available at most speed shops or online.

+Acuravigor47 Only component from Flowmaster here is the mufflers. The entire "Cat-Back" system is custom. From the "X" pipe all the way back.

How is the drone at freeway speed ??

This is one of our more "stronger noted" systems for the Charger/Challenger applications. The drone is moderate at various touring speeds. We recommend performance resonators in the rear should oneself need to tame it down a bit. Our same system with the Flo-Pro MAX mufflers seems to be a better fit for those whom want a calmer noted interior. See our Challenger videos.

For the most part the V6 factory exhaust is 2.25. Your best bet is a 2.25 X-pipe.

It is a complete Kinney's custom "Cat-Back" system. No resonators were used, only the Flowmaster super 44 mufflers. One can always add them at a later date should they wish.

Moh'm Yahya Flowmaster "American Thunder" mufflers are not in Flowmaster's universal line up. American Thunder mufflers are only available in Flowmaster direct fit kits...
