I have a 2015 that busted the plastic 3 way piece at heater core. I bypassed heater core and had temp issues. Replaced one of the thermostats, didn’t know there was a second one. Last week I busted the upper hose going to radiator cap. Replaced it and refilled radiator. Temp still having problems, should I replace the housing and both thermostats? Also How do I drain the system of coolant?

Not sure this design because I'm yo lazy to rewatch the video but some do have 2 thermostats. I would replace them. I replaced the housing/thermostats on my 2.4 journey as well because coolant was going to the reservoir and not returning, and it’s still doing the same thing. I try bleeding the air of the cooling system on my own, but idk if that’s the issue, any suggestions??

Order a head gasket Tester and see if it failed. Amazon cheap. I Amy have missed it, I saw you put in the primary thermostat, but the second one, is there anything particular needed for install? I ask because I have installed twice and I am still having leakage
