I think GM Mareco missed a4 @ 7:50. I'm pretty sure that although black would queen first, white would queen with a check :D

No he didn't RG, the black king was always in the square so no promoting for white. I think he missed Rg5 thou with ideas of h5 keeping the initiative and opening up the black king
