On this episode, we change out the headlights on the King Ranch to the Morimoto headlights, and also we change out the grill to the Raptor grill.

It's been almost 18 months since you posted this video. I'm curious how the lights are holding up? Did you get the turn signal issue resolved?

No. As of last night, I installed my stock headlights back on until I can resolve the issue.

I bought a 2012 f250 for $820 dollars delivered. It needs a light, lower grill reinforcement and the grill. I was thinking on this raptor style grill and similar lights.

@@mattmcfly2165 The truck works nice and It has some power. I ended up putting some other headlights and a raptor style grill. These trucks will last not like the recent Chevrolets we got at work. Over 20 2019 Silverados to be replaced by Fords this month and more in the next months.

The three lights are two wires. I wanted them to turn on white my multifunction switch. I hooked them up with my running lights.

Nice video man. How are the headlights holding up? Tempted to buy but see numerous people mention that the projectors end up becoming loose or broken.

I haven’t had any issues as far as that goes. The right turn signal did just go out today, so I have to troubleshoot.

I install morimotos on my truck as well and my turn signals don't work any ideas what's It can be if so what's the fix these lights are hella nice and too expensive for them not to work properly

@@TheAutomotiveKid they worked when I first installed them. So what happens when I checked voltage it doesn't put out the 12v as it should puts out 7v I took it to a place and all I was told is that it goes to ground that the lights didn't work but I have tested the lights on to direct power and the turn signals work as they should also tried installing resistors and that didn't work either any tips ?

@@martinbernaljr1224 same thing happened to me. It ended up costing me a BCM. Call them and tell them to swap yours for the XB Hybrids. That’s what I ended up doing. I recorded the video, but haven’t uploaded it.

@@TheAutomotiveKid update on the light so recently took my truck to a shop and turns out my driverside headlight went to ground and fried my BCM board should be getting the new one in today I contacted morimoto about my turn signal issue and right after my actual headlight went out and that caused the BCM to go out when you contacted morimoto did they send you out new lights or did you habe to send yours in first ?

You do. You have to transfer over the top portion of the grill

I just bought these and have the raptor grill, did you resolve your issues? Did you have to tap into the #50 fuse?

No. I have to edit a new video and changed them out for their new headlights. The ones where you use the stock turn signal. It ended up frying up my ECU turn signal port. Had to get a new ECU

Are you speaking in regards to hyperflash? If so, yes. The fuse that comes with it doesn’t need to be installed. Once I get home, I need to make a followup video.

Hey bud so i recently purchased these. And i see your side marker is black or clear. And on mine they are orange is there a way to buy them like yours? Did you specifically ask for them like that?

Hey brother, I spoke to the vendor that I purchased mine from and it is a DOT regulation thing. All the newer ones have to be amber on the side markers. The ones we see in the videos are older ones. They did say they sale a kit to change that but it voids the warranty with Morimoto due to the fact that the light has to be taken apart.
