2012 Ford Fusion 3.0 V6 valve cover

Oil leaks at the front and rear. I should have included more info on the EGR removal. If a new o-ring is needed the part number for it is Ford 9L8Z9J469A. The EGR tube has a smooth 90 in it and removing the fuel line is required for the intake to come off. Removing the two 10 mm bolts from the EGR housing is required. The felpro gasket kit has a new gasket for that. Using silicone grease to install the oring is required. Also the bracket that is on the back of the intake near the EGR should be left on the intake and only the 8mm bolt in the head removed.

Do you know where the cylinder head temperature sensor is located on a 3.0 engine for the fusion?

I'm working on the front valve cover gasket replacement. Messed up by miss reading the torque spec in my book. 30 ft lbs and snap. Supposed to be 89 in lbs. Redid it and snap. Bolts all got too weak. So I bought new bolts 6mm X 1.0 gotta cut 'em to the right length.

Quick question, I have the same make and model, same part number used, however the gasket was not the same. How were you able to fit it in with the timing cover portion?

Maybe flip the gasket over, it only works one way.

Watched another video and some dude was taking the power steering off too. Is that not necessary?

I did not remove the power steering pump.

This model has electronic power steering, there is no power steering pump. I think the pre 2010 3L models had a power steering pump.
