The old 5.4L in 2009 made 315kw by its self, so chuck a supercharger onto a 5L makes sense that it will make alot more, its the same engine used in the Boss 302 Mustang

The ford motor is pulled apart in aus an replaced with 70% new parts including the SC. The hsv is 100% American. Get schooled much unbiased gamer? Clown....

Get a used XR6 Turbo in excellent condition with low kms from a first mature owner with full service history for average $20000. Spend a few more thousands of dollars on flash tune, bigger/stronger wheels and brakes plus high quality after market exhaust, (coilover is an option). Then you can expect about 300 RwKW, a true high performance sleeper that you can easily afford and live with. A 4L straight 6 motor with a massive turbo system, equipped with 6sq ZF Auto (Manual is good also but I prefer Auto for this type of car) is quite unique for Australian car market, does Holden offer any models similar to the XR6T?!

Disagree completely, it's making 335kw and 630N.m which is more than the Falcon's supercharged 5L! The pushrod design it tried and proven, and now with direct injection and cylinder deactivation has decent fuel economy. An NA engine is always more lively and responsive over a similar engine with forced induction.

there is a difference in the steering wheels with the Falcon just not the design its the shape of the wheel if that makes sence, but the design doesnt really need changing ive always thought Fords had better looking steering wheels

the FPV GT Rspec does 0-100 in 4.4 seconds tested using a 5.0L supercharged v8 they make 335kw (375kw peak) and holdens making 430kw out of a 6.2L supercharged v8 and are getting 4.4seconds (acclaimed not TESTED) which imo is pure shit

Well the FgX GT can’t compete because they didn’t release an GT line in the FGX series. Talk as much as you want, an F6 with a little bit of coin spent on it will eat HSVs all day.

I think driver is not hitting the accreditation pedal quickly. As the computer gets active with the speed of pedal we press. If he do so i think it can reach 100 in 3 secs. Even i have got an xr6 non trurbo i have hitted 0 to 100 couple of times.

it does but by hardly anything at all for all its 6.2litre S/C V8 and 430kw and 720nm vs a 5.0 S/C V8 and 335kw and 570nm to only be 0.1second faster and not even half a second quicker over the quater is pretty crap for the extra money you have to hand over

Yea on my bosses 317 maloo was making 311 kW at the fly until a custome tune. That fpv in the video making 334kw at the rears on stock tune even though badge States 335fly. Then in the custom tune was making 380kw 515rwhp. I like both cars but I'm getting a gs 315 ute hopefully someday soon. Was tossing up between a 2009 GTS sedan but gotta go the GS ute
