That kit guitar sounds pretty awesome and looks good too. I would just have painted the headstock black or glued a black veneer on it, but other than that pretty amazing.

hey man when you put the two together how would you compare the precision kit body to the gibby? is the body the same?

hey Man ahah love it ,, listen the neck angle and headstock angle are not as much as Gibson so that sweet bend spot moves the best guitar out there right now is the heritage custom core , its perfect except the headstock every note is incredible and has the old school gibson neck angles and the real spec'd 50s pickups the patent exp.. thats why they are making the custom core now ,, the best guitar look at the one I have on the video its better then a real 50s I had at one time .. My main guitar now is a fender 2022 fender pro strat with custom pickups I searched and found one that is so good its insane

I’m a Gibson fan boy but the top on the kit guitar is ridiculous. It’s definitely a better looking guitar but does it play like a Gibson ?

Different neck angles so alittle tighter feel but neck shape and action are top notch

I know this is an older video but I'm looking into the precision Les Paul kits and I'm blown away with there quality. Your guitar inspires me to go for it! Is your kit comparable to a Gibson custom shop are Gibson standard?

neither ,,, but feels as a high end custom type guitar if you build it correctly ,,,,,,,,, Gibson neck angles are different so the tension is different up around the 12th fret when you bend , hard for me to compare them but the PGK is awesome took me a month to build .. the New Heritage custom core kzbin.info/www/bejne/n5OmnnyajLmKg7s is the closest to a real 50s les paul I have had a real 1956 and a 1958 les paul and the heritage is just incredible compared to a Gibson custom shop ... also if do not want to spend a ton I just bought a gibson les paul Faded 60's at 8.10 bls and is as good as the heritage and better then the PGK .. thanks Ben

those guitars look and sound great, put your fav, pickups in and have what yoiu want.What I dont get, Is when people put gibson logo on it?I guess to make Orvil happy ,But hes been dead a while and never saw a less paul anyways,Maybe theres alot of people named gibson?

no precision uses 13.5-degree headstock angle with a 4.4-degree neck angle design .. I have both Gibson and PGK and really do not notice any difference .. both sound great

Gibson pickups with bubble bee caps vintage cloth wiring .. bb2 in bridge 57 classic in neck

For the complete price of quality components for the Precision kits, you can pretty much have a real Gibson instead of a clone.

I built 2 for the price of that 1 les paul .. all these bodies were on clearance under $500. I paid 400 the one inthe stand and 500 for the one I played ,, yes clearance guitars bodies are worth it . built with hot hide glue and vintage aniline dyes , shaved the neck and binding for my feel .. a standard les paul doesn't not come that way also you can get ebony or rosewood , wedge finger boards , different inlays ,, the new gibson 60s faded series you can shave the binding to fit your hand better , I still buy Gibson's also

Please can you tell me how the necks on these Precision guitar kits feel? I like the Gibson guitar necks because they are wide and fat, I dislike narrow and skinny necks .

they have different options and show you the measurement on their site. They can make them chunky, or slim tapered. You wouldn't be disappointed.
