2012 Grand Cherokee WK2 - Fun @ the dunes

Messing around up at a beach in the Lost Coast area of California. Turns out it's off limits but there were no signs saying otherwise. Rangers kicked us off but it was ok as we had already had our fun.

Yeah along with everyone else I'd like to know the specs of the wheels and tires with the lift kit that you have on. I assume it's the RR 2.5 lift kit. If you could give us some feedback on that kit it would be appreciated. I've heard a lot of good and even more bad about that lift kit. Thanks

Looks like very fine sand. A bit lower tire pressure and a bit more gas. Great job overall. Like from me :).

I love how guys are putting crossbars on the roof rails to make the WK2 look "tougher". I'll admit that it looks a bit mall-crawlerish with those smooth & low roof rails alone.

I bet you were in low range? Try high range, HEMI has so much power and I am sure it would have made a difference. Have WJ HEMI myself and with low range could not get up the dune, but when I used high it went up easy. Dunes in Saudi Arabia. Love the Jeep

I would say otherwise. It's just the oem exhaust which is very quiet. Cars like the charger and 300 with the same engine are much louder.

I jumped this same WK off Silver lake Sand Dunes, Test Hill and all I did was put a tiny hole in the radiator. 12 psi on stock tires. its not the best jeep by far , but its fun!!

For one driving skills look sub-par, second the traction control on these Grand Cherokee's take over throttle quite quickly so could have been cutting it.

I have the 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland. Since the first 1000 km I have been experiencing problems with it. The dealership was not able to solve them plus they are running at 250% over capacity. The car is amazing and it will seduce you with its features and functionalities. The dealership in Saudi sucks. and when when you email Jeep America, they do not care to acknowledge receiving your email. I will never buy a Jeep or Chrysler car ever again.
