only professional riders appreciate the goldwing, cause all these features are very practical. Goldwing only keeps getting better. The Goldwing is the safest bike in the world, i feel defenseless in any other bike, BMW or whatever.Nice video too! :)

There is no doubt in my mind that you are going to create tons of great riding memories on your machine. Eddy Sir, wishing you and yours wellness sincerely, ~Ben G.

Well done video. Very thorough. Goes straight to the info you need to know. BTW the radio button you haven't figured out yet is for AM band radio. I guess every country doesn't use it, but we still use it here in the US. AM is a shorter wave length broadcasting frequency.

I love this video, thanks for making, and posting it for everyone to see. I like the way you presented everything. Great job! You also spoke clearly and slow enough so we could understand what was being said. You cam positions are excellent and show all that is being talked about. I've seen many video's where the maker spoke way to fast, and the cam wasnt even showing what was being talked about... So........ In all I give ya 5 ***** on a job very well done.

Outstanding video. The button on the left that you were not sure about was for AM radio and you stated that the dimmer switch (below the gps) would dim the headlights but I don't think that's the case, the dimmer switch should dim the GPS and gauges if anything but not the headlights. Other than that great vid

Good Video. Just one comment. The FM dial you explained is correct. The AM dial that you were unfamiliar with is an AM dial, which was the method used for the first audio radio transmissions in the US, and remains in use today. "AM" is often used to refer to the mediumwave broadcast band. Bottom Line: AM is also a radio setting.

There is subtle different between the 12 and the 13 model I believe. Different color choice and the fairing is the same color as the body. Regarding Goldwing in general.. its a fine bike; very smooth, sturdy, comfy and very reliable. It's pricey thought but people do still buy it. For me there were two things which required getting used to.. one was the weight and how clunky the gear shifts felt particularly because I had a sports bike before. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
@henryhonda84087 жыл бұрын
If you want the gears to be less clunky......... switch over to synthetic oil (I use AMSOIL) 10w-40 or 10w30 depending on temperature in your area.

While I love the 1800, and have one myself, i will not upgrade to the 2012 on models, they have made the bike look like a BMW/Honda/HD hybrid, taken away most of the character of the original 18's, the only saving grace is the engine remains. But thats just my opinion, im sure many will love the new plastic squared shapes.

I have a GL1800 2012 and bought it on Oct 14 2014 with 13 090km in it and was a rebuilt bike. This year, she's starting the season with 66 512km on it and the only problem I had was that darn GPS. I cannot get an upgrade and when the GPS is on and showing a road, I am unable to turn it off or change anything. Finally, I love the bike, the color (red and grey with no black) and all the things on it

Cycles with all these electronic options will own you, not you own it. They will eventually quit one at a time so don't say you weren't told. Besides, put a helmet on and you are better off in a car instead.
