i got a 2006 azera back then for 24k. best car ever. it had the 3.8L V6 that they eventually put in the genesis. what a smooth car.

Everyone Who says Hyundai isn't a reliable car I have an 04 Elantra gt with 175,000 miles on it and have been in 3 front collision accidents in it and have had no problems with my car the only thing I've had to change was my alternator so there's an example of how reliable their cars are

I am definitely looking into buying a brand new Hyundai. I have owned American an Japanese cars. Japanese cars are definitely more reliable and have a more tightly built sensation. I am going Korean this time, these guys are making very nice looking cars at a very competitive price. I'll try it for myself and see if the purchase was worth it. For those who say german cars are reliable they must be out of their minds, plus ownership sometimes can get pretty expensive on the long run.

@desiderious1 Not exactly, I can still differentiate. Hyundai and Kia have just discovered their design method that works and fits for them. It's very similar to Cadillac, and how they use boxy grilles and light. So you could also say: "Hey is that a CTS, no I think it's an STS, no wait a minute I think it's a DTS.

Hyundai is starting to really piss me off. Every time they release a new model I want it. I had a 2009 Genesis Sedan 4.6 which I loved. I traded it in after two years for a Corvette. I figured I better get a vette before I'm too old and creepy. Funny thing is I ended up buying a 2012 Elantra for a daily driver. That car is awesome for it's size. It doesn't feel like your in a compact car at all. Now I believe I see an Azera on the horizon. Thanks Hyundai.

@rororooster Hyundai is going to be starting up their luxury brand in 2 years and will be moving the Genesis and Equus over to whatever the new brand will be called, also new cars will be added to that new hyundai brand. there was an article on the subject over at autoblog. in 2 years the genesis and Equus will be due for a make over so makes sense for them to wait till then.

That's the same steering wheel in their economy class cars like the Accent and Elantra. Same goes for the gauge clusters. If Hyundai and Kia want to separate themselves from their checkered past, they need to differentiate themselves.
