2012 kia optima steering wheel disassembly (Broken Button Fix)

I have a problem exactly similar to yours in a 2012 Kia Optima, imported from Korea. Can I do this without completely removing the steering wheel?

So I have a 2014 and the buttons to the left broke. Any ideas?

Hi there, if the actual button assembly is broken I would suggest buying a new kit from eBay or Amazon, they can be pretty tricky to fix. If it's just the connecting plastic in the assembly that broke then I would suggest some Q Bond and try and bond it back together.

Scared me to hear your horn blast when you pushed the airbag back into the springs… if u DCd the battery how’d it go off?? Dangerous?

Yea I hooked the battery up after plugging everything back in :) Just wanted to make sure everything worked before I put it back together. But totally agree, would not be fun to accidentally set off the airbag... that'd be a bad day lol
