@5.23 that left side steering wheel button has nothing to do with radar cruise control. It's the right side curb camera activator (camera located on the bottom of the right hand side rear view mirror)

Mine is 2011 Hybrid 450h 136,000 miles on it, and I change the oil when it shows up on the dash that oil maintenance required once it reach the 3,000 on it. Right now I only get 23.7 miles to a gallon, but your mileage consumption goes up if you do cruise control, specially on the freeway. But so far no problem, this car lasts for a long time, like my 2000 RX 300 before, got 237,017 and sold it and Still running and the new owner likes it.

I have the same car. He's obviously not taken it out on the hiway. Super fast and can be at home on the autobahn. Surprisingly the bottom ed even performs, but yes it is a bit hulky due to the weight so not sporty when cornering but adequate.

@@kavindugilshan Where I live the speeds are controlled so only a couple times had it up at high speeds. NO PROBLEM! I don't know the situation in Germany re parts etc. Any dealer will have the parts and expertise to maintain your Lexus.

I have an opportunity to get the same car at a pretty good deal $15k with 60k miles. However, I heard the hybrid battery replacements will run $4,000. I'm second guessing purchasing it.

I hear not cheap too, but I also heard that Lexus now warranties 10yrs/150k miles. A 2012 is almost 10 years, but the fact they bumped up to 150k miles says a lot. I’ve researched these cars and I read many stories of over 200k miles and still working fine with original battery. At 60k I’d think you’d have much life yet with the battery. Now anything can fail at anytime. Some cars will have transmission failures under 100k, some cars will blow head gaskets, but some cars will go 500k with no major problems. So all cars have risks. But from my research I’ve heard very little stories on people having to replace it. And no stories online that I saw where it was under 120k. But again, I’ve found very few stories and the one I did I recall there were other issues involved like letting the car sit too long, etc. That seemed to be an important point. I just pulled the trigger on a 2015 w/86k and I’m not concerned…knock on wood (or on my car, knock on bamboo- I’m loving the bamboo wood vs darker wood). But Toyota/Lexus will warranty it until 2025 or 150k so there is that.
