I owned a 70 GP with the 400 engine and Turbo 400 auto in the early 80's. Grear car comfortable, good ride and handling, and the 400 had plenty of power, beautiful sound. Mine had power windows and AC.

This gorgeous and special Oldsmobile 98 Regency with that glorious 455 V8 is truly a treat, Bill. I have watched this review many times and it always makes me happy, leaves me with an educated car guy grin😁. Thanks brother, JV Johnny ⚾⚾

I just bought myself a BEAUTIFUL ‘77 Black & Gold Trans-Am. It only has 76,000 miles on her,and the paint is IMMACULATE! I’ve only wanted one for the last four decades…it was TOTALLY worth the wait. Heck…sometimes on crappy weather days I go out to the garage just to LOOK at it. GREAT VIDEO! 🤠

I have one just like it except with the original paint. Mechanically it's been restored. Flathead with the Borg-warner transmission. It's a great little car. Rambler is the perfect name for it.

I have a ‘95 XLT almost identical. SWB, 5 speed, 4x4, 302 V8, 95,000 miles. I get a lot of compliments when driving it, it still cleans up very well. One guy in a Hampton Inn parking lot in Yuma AZ recently offered me $20k cash for it. I will never sell it. Bought it slightly used in 1995 with 9000 miles on it. It has been and will continue to be a great truck.

This Ford is a Holman Moody 428 FE Cobra Jet V8, the intake manifold and duel 4V carbs and dual snorkel air cleaner was only used on these Holman Moody modified Fords. These were used mostly for drag racing.

This car kinda rubs me the wrong way. It's a Dodge and they named it IROC, and the Daytona font looks like the Pontiac font...

I can explain why your AC is so good and it IS luck! Back in the day when R12 was the refrigerant of choice, it used to work way better than the stuff we have today. My dad used to have an old Mustang with 40k original miles on her and she still had her original AC coolant! It was so cold that it froze the vents, no exaggeration. Some people say they could get snow to come out under certain circumstances. Just think, in order to have that the system had to have no leaks whatsoever up until now. Over time eventually they will all be gone. To have the original coolant is super rare and makes a car MUCH more valuable/desirable!

A classic. This is a good one to buy because it has no catalytic converter. You can wake that big block up pretty easily. No one will confuse this glorious CDV for an electric moon buggy.

My uncle had New Yorkers every car he would buy every 4 years , so big but really nice cars . I was just a small kid at the time but I remember everything ! Hell I remember my mom and big sister picking me up out of the crib and I even remember the first house I lived in and exactly where it was because I remember driving in the car to the store and it was before kids had to be in a car seat and all that stuff . I have a memory that is I guess you could say is photographic or I’ve been told that , it’s kinda strange to think people don’t have that ability ? Anyway these cars just kinda float down the road .

GM being so big to me always seems disconnected from the people they want to sell there cars to and why they keep that distance is a mystery to me ? If I worked for them I could drive a car for a day and tell them if they have a winner or they should go back to the beginning and start over . Every car on the road I see from a great distance away I can tell you the year, make and model . And when I’ve stepped onto a car lot I could always tell if there was a car that would tank and I could tell within a moment that a car model will be a winner and they should make way more then is planned . Ford had made a 1979 turbo 4cyl mustang and called it a Cobra with a green cobra snake on the hood and when I had seen it I knew it wasn’t going to do well and I new that there wasn’t enough research done on that 2.3 4cyl that they used and a turbo without a way to cool it down was going to be a problem . A guy I knew purchased one and didn’t listen to me and within 4 months the turbo went bad and the car wasn’t going to live up to his expectations . He sold it and he promise to listen to me from now on , I told him to get a 6.6 Pontiac Trans Am before they start making them with smaller engines and the next year they started to put that crappy 4.9 liter engine in it and also the 4.9 turbo that just wasn’t done well and if I remember had no intercooler ? Anyway he was so happy with the Trans Am and has listened to me ever since .

I’ve always hated these digital gauges that these cars had and not just Cadillac, I’ve just always felt that regular needle gauges looked better and you had zero problem reading them fast . The exterior of these cars are boxy but attractive and clearly designed for old people but I’d still drive one if the engine is a good one. I have no idea what engine they put in these and I’m writing this before he gets to it . Young people don’t care about the old people look of a car if it runs great and is reliable .

I’m from the UK, they are good looking cars BUT…thrown together, poor build quality, completely unreliable. On the plus side, the ride is superb, the engines are silky smooth, the interior is classic British men’s smoking club, leather and wood everywhere

Had a 924turbo Euro spec and a 944 turbo. I’m an ex Porsche technician & can say in all honesty that the 911 couldn’t compete with the 944 turbo which was really fast, had fabulous handling & brakes, was built really well at an Audi factory and didn’t rust, unlike the 911 which was on a mission to kill you, had major oil leak issues, rusted away (not here in Greece admittedly), & the build quality was average at best Bill, the cars development code was EA425 not EX425, that keyhole is the factory alarm system, rare option in Europe. The European version had 163 horsepower

My girlfriend had a 944 Turbo S. A very fun, fast, east to drive car. Really handsome with those fenders. The sunroof when open put out a hellacious loud throb until one also brought down the windows some. That was the only negative. Until it became a money pit despite persnickety adherence to scheduled and otherwise maintenance. Fun while it lasted.
