I loved my 2013 Mustang 3.7. Very smooth, fun daily driver. I eventually traded up to a 2016 GT because I realized how much I'd have to do to the 3.7 to get it to go as fast as I wanted.

I got 3.7 and wit the tune I can keep up wit gt it took ridiculous 115 mph Rev limiter and got it up to 140 before i let off pedal

As someone who went rods and pistons, ported intakes, FBO, Headers, catless, circle d 3c, 355 gears blah blah with his 12 3.7 mustang my best 1/4 to Date is a 12.5 @109 mph ( on a drag radial) 326whp @ 7200 rpm. I would have to agree with you. I love my 3.7 but even a shitty driver with a decent tire on a 2011 + Coyote Mustang will beat me at a track. The new 10Autos are insaine

I think you're mistaken, there was no down shifting at the top of the 3rd gear. That's the sound you get when you apply the brakes while still in gear. The tone of the engine did not change as it would in case of a downshift.

miss my 2014 Stang V6. was underrated at the time. all my friends had WRX, Audi or 4x4 trucks. they always beat me in races. but a 1 piece drive shaft, intakez exhaust and 91 Oct tune made that change very quickly..

@@billyray4716lol buddy idk what ur talking about but the 2014 has more horsepower than the regular 2014 wrx, the same amount of horsepower as the STI, the 0-60s are basically the same and the 2014 v6 runs a faster quarter mile. @@francel0198 I'd you want a serious upgrade go wit a tune from American muscle they are pricey but u pay for what u get and are 400$ it will make your car responsive and I also got rid of ford plugs and went wit 3 spark ones also took mufflers off and got pipes from American muscle it sounds deep as hell now plus get a k&N filter so it breathes better also put the tornado spacer under throttle body

They definitely are, there on par with the 3v stock for stock; especially the non base models that had 3.55 gears. The 2.73s kill the acceleration in these. A swap to 3.73s with good tires will put you in low 5 and high 4 second 0-60

Good run! I have a 2015 6spd with drop in k&n, muffler delete and 93 MPT tune, mine has the 3.31 gears and what a difference from stock. I have driven my sister's fiancé 2013 mustang v6 stock and I still like my better😏, not cause its not stock but cause the 2011-2014 came with a bigger hood and I can't see the road🤣.

@@notsojoerogan First of all, I want to suggest that if you can take your car to a dyno shop it's much better. They can actually see how your car is running right in front of them. They will be able to see the parameters of the vehicle if you decide to drop in a K&N filter, headers, or exhaust. As far as the MPT tune, you will be paying for the handheld and a tune. My car is tuned to run on 93 super. As far as I know, it's just like a reflash on the computer. If you don't have a dyno shop near you, then MPT is worth every penny. The only thing that I don't like is you can install a cold air intake H or X pipe with a full exhaust and they will send you the same tune if you didn't have the same parts that I just mentioned. As far as my car, it's worth it because it gave me the low end torque that you need since the stock mustang v6 lacks of. You'll definitely feel day and night in all gears. As far as the MPG goes, with more power, more fuel consumption. I can manage 29 highway and about 23 city if I'm easy on it. 23 highway and 18 city if i feel like having fun. Another advantage with the hand held is that you can go back to stock at any time and MPT will only give you a new tune when you play with the O2 sensors meaning the cats. A lot of people on KZbin (and you can youtube it) like MPT over Bama. If you want, I can throw in some videos, but this is just me. I hope this helps.

@@cesarpalmos8235 Read about precision vs accuracy. When you factor in human error, a stopwatch will never be accurate and precise. A stopwatch will never be the most accurate ACTUAL measure, it can be precise in repeat-ability (must make sure you use the same individual and same device). If we both take a stop watch and time the same car, we might get different values.. you might repeatedly get 6 seconds whereas I get 7 seconds repeatedly.... The issue with timing a run via a youtube video is that most people will stop when the car has not even reached actual 60 mph. To see what I mean, use your cruise control in the car, the tach might look like its at 60 mph but youre actually going 58 mph ...and thats is the error. Human and a stop watch vs and actual GPS performance meter. What result would you take as more accurate....? (not an actual question). Not saying my method is 100% ACCURATE, but: Speedo takes off at 16.8 and reached 60 mph at 23 secs. Roughly 6.2 secs.
