2012 Mustang V6 FPV POV: Saturday drive October 2, 2021 4k

This was filmed with an Insta360 Go2 mounted to my hat in Pro Video mode rendered in 4k 60fps.
This drive was on my way to my Dad's house to visit and help him with one of the many truck projects he has going on.

I have an MCA too. Performance White with black leather interior. Manual 6 speed. I just got back from 2.5k road trip. Averaged about 28.5 mileage. I love my cheap pony fun. ❤

Do you have any mods on your car I just bought a 2013 v6 convertible it’s my first car so I got no clue how to upgrade the engine and stuff any tips help

I replaced the tail lights and tinted the side markers and headlights. I also modified the rear emblem/badge. I haven't done anything with the engine as I have no clue either how to do that lol. I'm planning to replace the front grills this summer. I keep thinking louvers for the rear windows might look cool too. I'll probably get the windows tinted too. @@dknightvideo I just bought the parts for a touch screen radio with the back camera it’s getting installed on Monday next I plan on getting my windows tinted too upgrades are a lot more expensive than I thought tho but I’ll try to upload some vids much love

It had about 61.5k when I got it in May of 2021. It has a little over 65k now (October 2022).

I got this just yesterday - same year, model but premium. Got it for 14.7k on the road from the dealership. They were originally asking for 16.3k but I was able to talk them down. I took a 3 year loan through the bank, probably will have 95% done in one year. Insurance for me (23M), with 5 years of driving experience and no accidents left me at 1280 for a year. I probably could of gotten a better deal elsewhere, but I was already on my parents insurance plan and the company transferred some of the benefits over for from their plan. I put 2.7k down in cash, with enough in the bank to cover insurance all at once, plates, and have spare $ for maintenance, gas, etc. I wasn’t going to go for it originally, I hate the idea of being in debt, but my job is secure enough and even after a year of paying it off so fast, I’ll have made a decent amount in savings. The benefit of my job is I can pick up extra shifts for a month in advance (even being part time). For the month of April I’m working fulltime with okay pay, and should be able to put down a fair amount for my first payment.

V6 is plenty enough, it’s a night and day experience from my 2009 honda civic. Real car enthusiasts won’t give you BS for driving a v6. My friend has a SS Camaro and respects the v6 in mustangs. I went over and over trying to justify the v6 and v8, until I test drove it yesterday and knew it was a solid deal. Just remember: make sure to have enough for maintenance and gas after a downpayment - and if you could, get a bank loan - never go through the dealership.

Hey, thanks a lot. This car is being financed through a bank. I got a pretty good deal on the car through an online dealership. The payments are actually lower than what I was paying for my previous car (2016 Chevrolet Equinox). The insurance is a little higher than I thought, but it's worth it, I suppose. I hope you can get one, I see them for sale a lot, but not for very long. It's understandable because it's such a great car.

@@ongoer9036 Nice, mine had ~62k. It's a premium also, I believe. It has the Mustang Club of America package. It doesn't have heated seats, though. Wow, I'm 48 and your insurance is cheaper than mine. No points or anything either, maybe I should shop around, lol. Thanks

@@ongoer9036 I had a 2016 Chevrolet Equinox before. This is a lot more fun and fast enough for me. Some people seem to feel the need to apologize for having a v6 for some reason.
