Got a 2014 Insignia ecoflex 1.6, really good car. After I got the 2020 Insignia, confortable and look good, but motor was piece of sh.. Miss the first one.

This pre facelift Insignias has to be the best cars Opel has ever made. I drove a cosmo trim level 1.6t insignia for a one year and today i'm using a Seat Leon and i miss that car every day. Unfortunately some crazy lady hit me and insurance took car from me and paid me car's retail price.

I don’t know how on a biturbo, but on 1 turbine after 4k revolutions there is no thrust, it’s better to switch to 3.8-4

astra j a20dtj chip 190 hp accelerates in 7-8 seconds to 100, front wheel drive has very poor grip. 1700+ kg

I have a 2009 Opel Insignia 2.0 CDTI 160 hp automatic. These cars are beautiful, comfortable and fun to drive but reliability is a big problem. Had this car for 14 years and it had so many problems with only 120,000 km. At the moment only one fan of the radiator is working, it goes on limp mode if I accelerate too much and xenon are working only if set to manual, auto leveling doesn’t work anymore.

You have to do a carbon clean to your engine and it won't go in limp mode with hard acceleration

Real Consumption are like from boening 747 but on paper are quite low just like from mine Peugeot 207 which have on paper 4,8liter and in reality 4,9

Well, it depends on the driving style. I have an opel meriva b (140ps, a14net) and the best result I've got on the highway was 4.9. When you're driving only on highway on normal speed (~100 km/h) it's 5.0-5.4. If you're driving a bit faster (140 km/h) it's 6.2. And if you're driving 200 km/h it's 8.4-9 litres per 100 km. Also I've done some tuning (don't ask me why i did it with a family compact van) and right now I have ~180 ps and consumption is 8 litres per 100 km if I'm doing 70% highway and 30% city.

@@Mr11ESSE111 I can not prove it or measure it because of speed cameras but if you are going 130-180 the car consumes ~8 litres. On 200 (if you are going constantly 200) it just could not be more than 12. Meanwhile, I agree that it has awful consumption in the city.

Zbyt wysoka masa tego auta zabija jego zwinność i dynamikę. Przyspiesza słabo jak na 195 KM. Wolę Astrę IV z tym silnikiem.

Engine pulls like train but first insignia was made under GM that mean lower quality parts/materials.They needed to make car fast like insignia and astra j to save brand. opel almost went bankrupt back then so its very heavy car (2tons), sorry for bad english
