It's engineering like that that'll keep us fed for a LONG time! :) A little road-salt water, and grounds go away! Got to love it. :D So many tools I need to buy. That test lead kit is one of them. Great stuff, Cuba!

This is definitely 1 of my favorite automotive electrical diagnostic tools. I've added a few extra lead & piercing probes, but all in all it's fantastic. I also use it for pin fitment, like drag testing. Feeler gauges but for pins. Lol There's ALWAYS a tool to get or that makes life easier. Just need to choose what you think you'll be using more of, especially short term.... then save for some other things down the line. That lift you have is surely handy.... and a heck of an investment. Things like that, prioritize. I know you hate the electrical BS anyway. 🤣🤣🤣🤣😜

@@CubasAutomotive - LOL, you know me too well, Cuba! :D Sounds like a great kit, though. Something I've wanted for a long time. I've dialed back my automotive work quite a bit though. I was burning out fast. Took on way too much all at once. Been thinking of buying a heavy duty strut compressor - one capable of doing the struts on my Silverado. The springs on this thing are INSANE - super thick wire diameter. When I tried upgrading to Bilsteins back 11 years ago, it bent my HD press and didn't move the spring 1mm!! There wasn't a shop around here that could do them either! I had to bring the pair to a GM dealer to change them out ... and they put all the speed nuts on upside down - I found that out after setting the strut in place!! GRR! Had to remove the heavy thing , flip them around, and do it again - was so mad, lol! I don't do struts that heavy that often, so it would probably sit unused most of the time. I should get myself a PowerProbe first.

@@SmittySmithsonite ahhhh... gee wiz!! Never knew that those springs were so beefy!! Yikes! I tell ya, I see dealerships messing things up more often than ever, sadly. I won't ever trust a dealer again. In your case you had no choice. Next time you should know what to look for, to see if they're done right. I'd be quite intimidated to do that on a strut compressor at home. Wall mount, caged or not. Yes yes yes!! Power probe for sure. That's not too bad of an expense. I think it's a huge benefit when doing things. Automotive or otherwise. You have a long cable to be able to have battery ground or positive at another end of a vehicle, trailer, equipment, etc. Great asset once you understand the tool. However, they also make it easy to let the smoke out, if you don't understand a circuit.

@@CubasAutomotive - Great points about the PowerProbe, dealers, and the strut compressor! Scary power in a strut spring, especially a truck one. Lots of power in a PowerProbe, too… especially with some modules costing north of $1000. YIKES!! You don’t wanna let the magic smoke out of that thing ...🤣

Ughhhh. Yeah, no mic here. Most of the rest of the video should be decent audio. I grabbed this with the phone to show shop my findings. Decided to share this clip with YT too. I appreciate your input. 😁😉

@Bill, just saw the Christine returns vid! I would've commented on that, however you have it marked "kid safe" so comments have been disabled. Great find on the pressure sensor. Bit by bit knocking out all the issues! 😉😁👍🏻

I can't wait to share. I thought this would be a decent vehicle to teach with, especially once I saw where the diag was going. Lots of good pointers for those doing diag or just getting into it.

How could I contact you about doing a capacitor repair on a 96 ls400 ecu? The family daily driver is out of commission as of now 💔

Oh no! Your DD... well 1st, what makes you think it's a capacitor? 2nd, my email is in the description of every video. I wouldn't mind at all repairing the ECM if it's salvageable.
