7 years and I still get emotional... And honestly, 2012 is my favorite one because of how emotional it is, think about what the Phandom did, not all of us, but there was so much pain caused. And the fact that this song can put it all in words and shoot us in the heart 10,674,367 times is just a mix of amazing and sad. Plus the music itself is just really amazing, the way it starts is what gets me every time

I get that people might think these songs are really cringe, and I agree a tiny bit. But the musical quality is just soo nice. I love how they wrote it all, 2009, 2012, 2022, The balcony and I think they did Long distance love too? Anyways the lyrics are great and it's a very nice listen and I think you can enjoy them without tying it to Dan & Phil too much. It's just nice art to me and it's quite nostalgic ahha.

I’m doing this because it’s fun to explain Ik you probs know everything now but I wanna explain 😂 write so back around 2011/2012 dan and Phil where always called gay and because of the time they both denied it (well dan did I’m not sure about Phil I don’t think he ever mentioned it) the phandom back then tried to find out things about there past which made them both uncomfortable making them deny anything to do with them having feeling for each other. People were finding clues and stuff to them being together. The V day video stands for Valentine’s Day and let’s just say Phil admits this was because it was meant to be sent to dan only but he accidentally made it public. Everyone went crazy and so they just said it was a prank. Some people believed them some people didn’t. And so dan and Phil prefered it when they didn’t have as many followers and subs hents the line “things used to be so much easier when we were so much younger” like what Brendon said Phil distanced himself from dad because of this. Now 8 years later Dan came out as queer and Phil came out as Gay The futures bright! Now we just gotta wait another year for a vid off dan 😂 jk
