That criticism is fair except for two things. (1) I put 500 miles on that car during 4 days of driving which is the maximum allowed and (2) most people who buy the Ghose (especially the extended wheelbase version) hire someone to drive it. All I can tell you is that it was impressive that "BMW" can build such a large & luxurious car that can accelerate & handle like this.

Fuel economy doesn't become a non-issue just because money isn't an issue to you. It's still a pain in the ass to have to stop and refill...or stop and HAVE it refilled, if you're a RR buyer, likely. And of course there's the whole emissions thing, if you're concerned about that.

Those who say the Audi has a better interior are absolutely wrong. I've been in A5 onward and they're nothing special, for that amount of money i'd side with the competition being the S class and the 7 series, but the Rolls Royce is way out their league.

These are nice for shorter trips but if i were to drive long hulls, then a luxury coach would do me perfect.. 2 toilets.. king size bed.. kitchen.. 70+ inches tv along with a massive couch.. a trip to anywhere, sure! Wake me up when we are there! Ofcourse none need 2 toilets.. but its nice to lend it to the guests / driver!

Agreed, but that's not why people buy a Rolls Royce. We're driving a Bentley GTC V8 this week and the BMW M6 convertible is arguably better, but doesn't have the exclusivity of a Bentley. Wealthy people pay extra to stand out. Those of us who don't have an 8-figure bank account can't understand that.

***** I wont deny im a common man. I cant afford that. Hell, I cant afford a luxery car really. I have two. Every day drive and a modified car for the weekends. But thats beside where im getting that. I think the most luxerious car I actually have driven is the Hyundai Equus. Its comfortable, lots of gizmos to tinker with, and a very smooth ride. But driving it and not riding it, only things I rly got out of it is what anyone gets driving it; powerful engine, gps, back up cam, blu tooth, decent quality stereo... same as any fully loaded car. Im not dogging the luxery lifestyle owning something like this, its just not my cup of tea. Im the guy who wants to drive fast with an obnoxiously loud engine down the highway

Ya I am a car enthusiast and drive a 2011 Camaro SS. No matter how rich I get I would never get a chauffeur. I love to drive myself and it's just not my thing to have butlers and drivers. (I lived in another country for a year and my mom had an in-house maid living with us and I would prefer not to have one)

If i were a billionaire i would buy a Rolls Royce or a Bentley rather than a ferrari or a lamborghini. Sence the top speed here in Sweden are about 70-80mph, i prefer slow driving, meanwhile you get more time to enjoy all your luxuary features in a fast sport car it`s all about speed, in this case it`s luxuary that goes first. My style!

Excellent video and explanation. RR is out of most people's reach, but it is arguably the finest motor vehicle you can own. 13 MPG city. Ouch, even if you're very well off.
