We bought a 2012 Sienna 4-cylinder new and drove it for 340,000 miles miles until a drunk driver side swiped it in 2022 and insurance totaled it because they said it was only worth $3500 and it would have been more than that to fix everything. underpowered to be sure but reliable. so many family vacations and trips to soccer tournaments. It was a good vehicle.

Judging by your video, I think you over tightened the drainbolt on the oil filter cap. Oil filter cap = 18 ft.lbs Oil filter cap drainbolt = 9 ft.lbs. If you over tighten the drainbolt then next time you go to remove it the entire oil filter cap may come off with it. I would check the dip-stick after your car is off the ramps on level ground.

You should change description to say the 4cyclinder engine. I couldn't tell till you said it takes less than 5 quarts. The v6 takes 6.4 quarts

When you turned on your engine after filling it with oil it makes it weird loudish sound. Mine does that as well.. not sure if you know what it is because I can’t figure it out! Any clues on what it could be?

Thanks for the video. The filter change is simple but very different from other changes I have done. Seems to be a eco friendly design to just change the filter media rather than the whole assembly. It’s readily available at WalMart too.
