If anyone is reading this in 2020, how much is full tank of this car? And is it fuel efficient?

Right now, with the UK government doing next to nothing to curtail the oil prices, a full tank on a D5 diesel will se you back about £116ish. Before fuel hikes, closer to £80. You’ll Get 550/640mpg if driving motorways. If doing a mixtures of motorways, A & B roads and like me, a bit off off-the-beaten track driving (which by the way, the xc60 is superb at) then you can expect about 450-500mpg on a full tank. This is just what I see as an owner driving real mileage. If you are looking at an average MPG then I’d say between 38-44mpg. The D4 variant engine is a bit more economical but not as much punch as the D5. Personal opinion? The XC60 is a superb car, unique looking when compared to other cars in its class, lovely to drive, very well built and genuinely capable of off-road driving such as hard to get to country tracks and rutted lanes which would usually be a bit of a struggle for a normal car is an absolute doddle in these.
