2012 VW CC-R 2.0TSI from stock to 355HP!

With HPA Motorsports Inc. Stage 3 Turbo Kit, DSG software, BBS (official) CH-R Wheels, Milltek Sport Exhaust, and Bilstein PSS10 coilovers.. this is a 355HP sedan that launches hard, and still gets 30+ MPG. Now who wouldn't be proud of that!

Despite this car not feeling THAT sporty driving wise, the fact that the 2.0T is so potent and easily tunable make it one of the ultimate sleepers :) I raced a friends modded e36 m3 with my bone stock cc and we were dead even,also raced a 2012 V6 camaro and that race was pretty suprising :P CC FTW!

How funny, i was sitting today at the AWE tuning shop waiting room reading magazines while waiting on my CC to get GIAC software flash and i came across of one article in the magazine about this CC. A friend (Ramsey) lent me his stock 2012 2.0t cc... I got his average mpg up to 37.8 and that includes several "launches"! I said I wouldn't be getting another fwd car or an automatic... Paradigm shift! The dsg transmission was a total marvel and the efficiency of the motor blows away anything I've ever driven. Btw the first car I ever bought was an 89 240sx coupe. This is the most sensible choice I never would have made. Thanks Ramsey, 300hp and 35 mpg here I come! One last thing, I would put the trans in N every time I let off the gas to coast. Especially if I knew I had to slow down for a light or a turn. Increased the mpg up to 135 for the moment. The tdi does this automatically. Think it could be done by fiddling with the ecu?

Not bad. I managed to get my 2.0t to hit 0-60 in just 5.4 seconds timed. My friend has a 2012 stock and it hits 0-60 faster than another friends 2014 brand new 2.0 stock version. VW is making the engine weaker rather than faster in those newer CC models IMO.

Wrong, unfortunately the Cc stock does 0-60 in about 6.3 seconds, but it is very tune friendly

Like it Hope you also re mapped the dsg with the cars main ecu Otherwise your timing thresholds and parameters will cause mechatronic failure in the dsg :( If not, go do it I have learned this lesson the hard way twice with my dsg audis after re maps. Both need to be done

For the price of a CC and the full kit you are better off buying a Golf R or B8 Audi S4. With a used B8 S4, exhaust, intake, and stage 2 (chip, supercharger pulley) you are making 450AWHP (500+ at the motor) for around the same price as this CC

Idk who told you that but totally not true. The engine can handle a stage1 + ECU and TCU tune easily on a fully stock CC. And it can handle up to 400whp with a few bolt ons.

Now granted you’d obviously want to keep up a bit more on maintenance but that goes for any vehicle especially modded

The reason people say these are unreliable is because they dont do the maintenance needed. For instance the dq250 transmission needs to be serviced every 40,000 miles. This is literally how i got my VW CC cuz the owner did not get the maintenance done and i copped it for $1793. Not all CCs come with that transmission. Some come with the 09g which can go a long time without maintenance. The dq250 is an automated manual transmission in the sense of it’s a manual that is controlled by electronics and hydraulic systems. Has no planetary gears or clutch bands like a standard automatic. This is why its real particular about the maintenance. The one i purchased only had 70,000 miles on it. They skipped maintenance 😂

i calculated it to about 6-7k, the turbo swap alone is about 2.7k on apr's website last time i checked, the intake was somewhere around half a grand, rims and tires, this thing was expensive lemme tell you

ronaldo lopez the Ko4 turbo is actually a VW/Audi turbo. I had one on my A4 and it was very reliable. Put 100k miles on it before i sold it.

Just had an APR stage 1 tune for my 2012 R-line . Took only 30 minutes at my local apr dealer and was about 600.00 plus tax, however, the power increase was phenomenal atleast from stock IMO. Worth every dollar. ( keep in mind it only runs on high output 93 octane gas now) (:

should be approx. 10k euros the turbo kit is around 3.5k, coilovers 1.5k, bbs i dont know (probably more than 2k),milltek approx. 1k, and bbk should be about 2.5-3k :)
