先月、上海浦東空港へ行きました。中国語のシャンー・ハーイの発音が頭に残っています。これって官語、呉語のどちらの発音なのでしょうか? I traveled to Shanghai Airport last month. I was impressed the pronunciation "Shanghai" in Chinese. I want to know which the pronunciation is Mandarin or Wu.

in chinese, shanghai is pronounced as Shang (4) Hai (3) in Shanghainese, it is pronounced as Sang (3) Hai (1) Pay attention to the difference: in Shanghainese, there is no 'sh' or 'ch' or 'zh', all are pronounced as ‘s’ or ‘c’ or ‘z’

in the radio broadcasting, there is no shanghai dialect announcement. this is somehow a taboo in China. Mandarin is always at the priority However, if you go to Guangzhou or HK, there is always Cantonese announcements, be it on MRT (subway) trains or in the airport.
