Thanks for the video. I tackled this yesterday when I had a few hours and it went very smoothly - and it finally fixed the no-start problem on my daughter’s car! It even started this morning at 16 F which probably wouldn’t have even worked with a jump with the old starter.

Done a good few of these starters didn't realize bolts were diff length always just put same ones back in same hole. Good job

I paid $350 dollars for a re-manufactured alternator from Autozone for my 2013 Kia Soul this passed Sunday. Ridiculous. So I understand how you feel. I came here to find out how to replace a starter because I figure that's next to fail. Thanks for the info.

Good vid, interesting on the bolts. Mine are the same length. For the life of me I can't get the bolt holes on the xmsn housing and starter to line up, need to check the old starter vs what they sent me.

Good video, always use anti seize spray, liquid wrench, or any other good penetraring fluid. Makes cracking loose bolts and nuts a whole lot easier.
