Awesome. Thank you. I just bought a 2013 Accord EX-L and the mechanic attempted to repair the fog light before we got the car. He pulled out the bumper cover along the bottom trying to get to it and must have given up when he couldn't figure it out. So now all the hardware is broken and missing from the cover and the fog light still doesn't work. Hacks!! So now I will fix it the correct way because of your help. Thank you,,,

I did this bulb install today and there is a one different step that I would take. The first screw you showed by reaching underneath the driver's side and having to use a floor jack. I tried that and then stopped. I decided to take the black trim/bezel out first. Then with a light from below and guiding the screw driver up through the opening all the while I was sitting in front of the bumper and watching where the head of the screw driver went was much easier. Everything else was the same as you did. But you did not mention the clip that holds the wire tubing in place needs to be undone to get the assembly out completely. But all in all it was a good video and gave me the bases as to changing out the light bulb.

Hey Duc, great tutorial vids on your channel. Really helped me out in a few situations with my 9th Gen Accord. I had a question though. Is there any way to adjust the foglight aim at all on these sedan foglights? The reason I ask is my passenger side one is loose in the housing, and without removing the bumper I can't seem to see anything that gives me access to tightening anything on the foglight housing to make it stay in place more firmly. Do you know of any screw that does this behind the bumper or on the foglight itself?
@ducducgoose7 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the positive comment! I appreciate it, as for adjusting the fog light, you can adjust it vertically. Check this link out www.collegehillshonda.com/instructions/accord/2014/foglights.pdf it should show you how to adjust the fog light. It's towards the bottom of the pdf. I hope this will resolve your issue. Good luck!
@excessmaterial7 жыл бұрын
Duc Le Ah, thank you. It seems to have an aim screw just like the headlights. Very convenient. It seems to only show the location of the screw from the perspective of the driver side foglight, but I assume there's a hole in the bottom of the plastic and a screw on the passenger side.
@ducducgoose7 жыл бұрын
excessmaterial you are indeed correct. Use a long phillip screw driver and you should be able to adjust up and down. I believe I also had to do this before because my passenger side was aiming higher than my driver side.
@excessmaterial7 жыл бұрын
Duc Le Yeah that's basically the same thing I've got going on with my car. It was like that since the day I got it a few weeks ago. I think if I just adjust them to match on both sides and maybe both up a little higher I'd use them more. As they are right now they're pointed way too far down onto the ground. I can't even see them on at night from the driver seat unless I stick my head out the window.

@Saundra77 жыл бұрын
Salvador Moran One of my friends was a tech for Honda and he added fog lights to mine. Also don't forget about looking up a fuse if you wire it up to the car. He installed an independent switch through the firewall and into the dash assembly to turn them on and off. Hope this makes sense.
@Striker50_2 жыл бұрын
Try popping it off and seeing if you have the fog light bracket behind it. You would also need to wire fog lights in
@wymotome10 жыл бұрын
If you are just replacing the bulb in the foglight, then please don't through the hassle of removing the entire foglight. Just two clips on the bottom of the splash shield/plastic under the front bumper is all that is needed to get at the back of the foglight and replace the bulb. It's a 45 second job per side...that's it.
@tousshong94389 жыл бұрын
So, on the driver side you don't have to remove the whole assembly as seen on here? Basically, just removing the clipping on plastic cover then access the bulb?
@oldtwinsna83479 жыл бұрын
+Tom Shong not possible for driver side as there is a large resonator box for the air filter that completely obstructs access. passenger side you can do this though.

@ducducgoose10 жыл бұрын
If you loosen the compression screw in the beginning of the video, it should allowed you to take off the black trim piece. If you're scared of breaking it, get a plastic prying tool and work your way around the black trim piece until you have a nice gap where you can stick your fingers behind the trim piece. Then you can use your fingers to work around the piece to take it off. Good Luck!

I'm not exactly sure the size or thread of the screw is, You can try and go to home depot or lowes and find a replacement for it. It won't be too hard.
