Hi, well I bought my accent 2013 at 2015 and it came with rear drum brakes and I want to know if it is possible to switch to rear disc brakes.

Should we be bleeding them after ? I ask because I dont believe mine have ever been done with bleeding and if I hit 120-130 on highway it's like a big vibration in the brakes and i literally have to pull off engage my E-Brake and it goes away (otherwise it is so loud and rumble everytime I press brakes) TIA Edit: Thank you for posting this helpful video as well 🙏

Sounds like you rotors are warped. I would either replace the rotors or see if they can be resurfaced. Bleeding the brakes wont help with shaking

I appreciate a no-fluff to the point video but...... you missed some very important things to look for, for example after pushing the caliper-piston back into place make sure the rubber seal is not still sticking out as it may need to be "burped" back into place (gently).

What is the sanding done for?

You can push in the pistons with a large regular screw driver while the old pads are still in place. Just pry the piston back. You can also use as old pad and a big C clamp.

Wish I watched this video before I started on my car. Had to use a torch to get that little Philip screw out -_- . It was very nicely rusted in there.

To avoid this problem, I add a little valve grinding compound to my Phipps bit. I than insert the bit and tap it with a hammer. This trick helps to prevent the bit from slipping out when backing out the screw.
