Thanks. Once you remove that cover as you did can you get to the pcv valve or Crankcase Vent Valve ? I have a 2015 glk and it's making a loud squealing noise.Noise goes away if I remove oil cap. Belt and pulley ok. Thanks

CPS on most mercedes v6 and v8 engines are located on the rear driver side aspect of the engine at the firewall of the vehicle where the transmission bell housing mates with the engine. This is not an easy job. Not recommended for novices. You'll need a torx bit T20, T25, or T30, a mirror with telescoping handle, a telescoping magnetic pickup tool and a long wobbly extension, and a large piece of foam to protect your top engine components and spare your upper torso from injury--you'll need to splay over the engine bay to get proper access at the firewall.
