I have a can-do attitude plus I am a Born Again Christian and I’m a woman of persistence all that combined I was able to get my son to watch your video put all the right tools together to accomplish the replacement of the visor in my car, that was a special time between my son and myself because I encouraged him. God is going to provide us with this home at the affordable price that were able to pay the mortgage in full and not have a mortgage, which is a blessing. It’s a small town. I think things run slower there and I think that will be more his speed

Thank you for this! I have a question. The 7mm socket wrench doesn’t seem to grasp the bolts in my 2016 Altima. Did anyone else have that issue? Seems like the 6mm is too small. It might be that I need a 6.5mm socket wrench, but does that even exist?

Don't pull down,try to get in the middle of the crack and push up.But if you are buying a new visor and you break it you get a whole new cover. .. Thanks for vid 👍🏾

@larasgarage2021 I found one on Amazon, but I'm just waiting for pay day. It's sad how they'll claim so much crazy stuff just to get you to buy from them. When I lost my key, I found an electronic key for a beyond ridiculous cheap price than what they quoted. The programming didn't work, so I took it to them. Naturally they "couldn't fix it", so I had to fork out the cash. That's why I hate push button cars.

For Nissan Murano 2012 model I replaced driver visor with new and took apart the old one. When I opened it I have found that plastic piece of the visor plate was broken inside and it not fixable - it is manufacturing defect. IMHO - The stop plastic piece is too weak or rotational spring is too strong. The same can happened again in future. In such case the best solution will be use velcro glued to both sides (to visor plate and ceiling) o some other fixer - like rubber magnet or hook. It have to be reliable fixer!! Remember!! - When you drive it can fall before your eyes in very sudden moment - and it is dangerous!

Yes it should fit ... wire is for mirror light...but other than that sun visors are the same.

7 mil socket. And u can check local junkyards for this part. I got mine from ebay...Amazon should have it too. Just type "sun visor and model of ur car/year etc and it should pop up. ..I'll send u the link for the one I got from ebay. :)

Great explanation. Gotta be really careful with the pry tool as it will permanently dent the foam headliner . I got my visor from Amazon for under $30! It's exactly like my factory visor, color just slightly different but probably because my original is 9 yrs old

@@larasgarage2021 it does switched out the right side visor this morning, there is a tiny hole on the ride side, I put the right tip of the screw driver in there and slowly and gently pulled towards the seat, it popped right off,

If u see a tiny line close to the middle it should be 2 pieces...just like the one in the video....yeah u need to apply some force to get it out but i promise u if u do exactly as shown in the video everything its going to be ok. 😉

I suggest plastic tools. Trim removal tools are not expensive and u can use them for something else im ur car. They're very useful to have in ur toolbox. 👍
