My Guy, just ran on your channel. Thanks for the simplicity for this video, I wont be paying Nissan $233 for this job, I can do this myself just by following the steps. Thanks a bunch.

Congratulations for the video and the excellent work. I always follow, because I have a Nissan Altima here in Brazil and your videos help me a lot. I'm waiting for a video on the inner tie rod replacement.

What is the treaded hole underneath the tie rod, mine is like that and i think im missing a bolt or something, the drivers side is gone but the passenger side is there. I need to go buy one but i dont know what it is.? Why is that one not in on that car? Please help! Thanks
@TheOriginalBeeCee Жыл бұрын
No need to buy anything thats how its designed. You can see the Altima in the video is the same way. Im not 100 percent sure why or what it is, but you aren’t missing anything

What kind of blow torch should I get? I cannot get that nut lose. I had an alignment done a little over a year ago and I guess they over tightened it.
@TheOriginalBeeCee Жыл бұрын
All you need is a small propane or map torch like I utilized in the video!

What about grease? I assume these new boots are empty.
@TheOriginalBeeCee2 жыл бұрын
They come greased from factory, but you can definitely shoot some grease in @ time of installation to ensure boots are filled.
@clarkcooper2920 Жыл бұрын
@@TheOriginalBeeCeeMoog, the manufacturer, specifically advises the installer to grease the new ball joint/tie rod end immediately upon installation. Also, using the ball joint separator that Nissan recommends is much less violent and causes no damage to the tie rod or the steering knuckle.
