K&n. Changed my mind with them it’s 2 years I have one and it’s all broken and rusted one side of the heat sheild braket broke after the first year and now the other side is cracked but not broken yet. Most likely next year I will have to scrap it. One million miles right. Just the filter and aluminum pipe. Heat sheild box is finished

Why not do a Dyno test on this truck like you did on the 5.7?

Because the V6 has the same airbox and filter as the hemi, you literally can't flow anymore air to it or make more power. A cold air intake just sounds better.

There is I have it. Don’t buy. 2 year I have it it’s falling apart heat sheild braket that holds it one broke after the first year and the other side is about to.

I've commented on other videos, I turn ECO off around town to 4th-5th gear and my Super 44 sounds wicked on the 3.6L..

@@Asteria70 manually select the gears from the steering wheel. If you're going on the highway select all the way up to 8th gear, or for cruising in town select lower gears. It won't let the trans go any higher gear than what you've selected. ECO light stays on but you should be able to notice the 'lag' goes away and truck is more responsive on the throttle..

There's no gain in power. The Ram 3.6 uses the same airbox and filter as the hemi. It seriously can't use all the air it has available now.

Tests show 12 hp and 15 ft lbs torque increase. Paper of the dyno graphs came in my kit today.

Whenever I put an aftermarket intake on any truck, it also helps to put a performance air sensor in, to compensate for better air flow.

No gains, because the 3.6 in the trucks makes 305hp (more than in the jeeps, 300's, etc) they're already using the hemi airbox. Honestly cold air intakes on Ram V6's just sound cool.

You gain throttle response, better gas mileage and of course a better sounds but yeah not much hp gain sadly

​@@user-dv6te3nw5ui'd argue any difference noticed in throttle response is placebo. It's like going to the doctor and getting a b12 shot. I put one on the wifes 3.6 grand cherokee yrs back and we didn't see any gains in anything. The only time I've ever noticed a difference installing a ram air is when I put one on my 392 srt and that was after I installed a 95mm throttle body.

That box looks horrible a very piss poor design K&N for the money you charge for that CAI you could have done better I would not put this in my truck nor waste my money but this is just my opinion

@@lildruggy8063 the truck already comes with a cai from the factory So I use that which out performs this POS design if you want something to buy to increase hp spend you money on a bigger throttle body
