What are these two brown pieces on clockspring pins ? One of them fell on me while driving and it's common on fusions 2013-2016

Hey so if the steering wheel airbag deployed, does that mean the clock spring is bad? And will it need to also be replaced?

when the airbag deploys the connectors get burned, so you will have to replace it.

@@mosdiy8096 due to safety sake I would just change out the whole clock spring. it could trigger the airbag light.

this airbag inflator has a yellow label which indicates the TAKATA airbag.(these are deadly!) while you have the horn assembly off you should replace it with a new correct airbag inflator (white).
